Plumb
- Stranded (Clark / Chloe)
-Originally done as a contest entry (I didn't win...),
this was my first attempt at a video using old reliable Windows Media
Maker. Looking back, I see a lot of room for improvement, but that's
experience talking!

Sixpence None The Richer - Don't dream it's over
(Clark / Chloe)
-I saw the TV commerical for the movie "How to lose a
guy in 10 days" that played this as the background music, and knew it
would be perfect for a 'ship. Lo and behold, a couple of weeks later,
Smallville played the song in the episode Rush, but focused it on
Clark and Lana. They finally listened to me, even if they didn't take all
my advice.

Superfriends - 1970's TV Cartoon Theme Song (Main cast)
-I downloaded a copy of the old 1970's Superfriends theme song from
somewhere. I used to love that show, it was the best. (We all wanted to be
Superman, of course). I thought about how the Bud commercial worked for
the cartoon, why can't the cartoon work for live action?

Greenwheel - Breathe (Clark / Chloe)
-The quintessential Clark & Chloe song, performed on the
episode Tempest. This was actually done by request of some of my friends
on Devoted to Smallville. The more I worked on this one, I finally think I'm
starting to get the hang of this video creation thingy. A happy ending is always
good, just like in my fanfics.

Leigh Nash - Need to be next to you (Clark / Lana)
-Now looking for some good songs, I strayed from my strict Clark/Chloe
'ship to explore the underlying tension on the show. They get enough
screen time together, so there must be something there. It's like as a
writer you don't want to give the viewer too much, but just tease them
enough to tune in next week to see if maybe they'll finally get
together...
Need to be next to you |
Shania Twain - You're still the one (Clark / Lana)
-Heard this one on the radio. Perfect. I wanted to use this to paint a
historical record of Clark & Lana's relationship, from the meteor
shower when they were young to current day. The climax of the music leant
a perfect ending to the video.
You're still

Vonda Shepherd and Dan Hill - Can't we
try (Clark / Lana)
-With this video, I've finally admitted I'm now a Clark
& Lana shipper. Well, I guess that's not genuinely true until I start
writing fanfic for them. But I sure do dig making good vids for those two.
This was after Rush and Prodigal when Clark & Lana have
had a falling out (again). Everyone wants some quality Clana time, so I
thought to create it and do some of those bad episodes in reverse, so it's
a happy ending again.

David Foster & Marilyn Martin - And When She Danced (Clark / Lana)
-This is from the soundtrack to the movie 'Stealing Home' - a wonderfully bittersweet romance. Just like ours... when looking for a 'sad' song for our sweethearts, this was perfect. Reflecting back on lost love.
And When She Danced |
John Mayer - Your Body is a Wonderland (Clark / Lana)
-A suggestion from the 'shippers at Devoted to Smallville. Clark's pov when he thinks about Lana, taken heavily from Red and Nicodemus. Bad Clark + Bad Lana = good video.
Your Body is a Wonderland |
Peter Cetera & Cher - After All (Clark / Chloe)
-Done by request for my other Chlark shippers! Especially after "Fever", we all wanted some love for those two...
The Last Song |
Elton John- Last Song (Clark & Ryan friendship)
-This song was written for of all things, a young boy named Ryan. I thought it would be nice to let Clark explore his own grief about how he couldn't save him. But the 'big brother' or almost paternal instinct kicked in and Clark learned a lesson in humanity.
After All |
Evan & Jarod – Crazy for this girl (Clark / Lana)
-What a perfect song for the guy who can't tell the girl of his dreams she's right in front of him (hey, that's from an episode, right???).
Crazy for this girl |
The Planet Krypton (Rosetta/Skinwalkers – Clark's past)
-Using clips from the two episodes mentioned, I pieced them together with the music done by the great John Williams from the first movie soundtrack. Plays more like a commercial for the newest Smallville episode!.
The Planet Krypton |
Breakable - Fisher (Clark / Lana)
-The many heartbreaks of Clark Kent when it comes to Lana Lang.
